Topeka Eats, located in Topeka, KS, is currently looking for a motivated and experienced waitress to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, from taking orders to delivering meals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Greet customers promptly and warmly, build rapport with them and explain about specials -Respond promptly to customer requests and ensure that their needs are met -Take orders accurately and input them into the POS system -Serve drinks, salads, soups, entrees and desserts to customers -Ensure all orders are prepared according to restaurant standards -Check in with customers and ensure that they are satisfied with their meals -Clean and prepare dining areas as needed -Monitor supplies and restock items as needed -Answer questions about menu items and make suggestions as appropriate -Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food

Work Hours and Benefits:

The successful candidate is expected to work 35-40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, vacation time, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience as a waitress in a restaurant environment -Excellent customer service skills -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to multitask and work efficiently -Ability to learn new concepts quickly -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Basic computer skills -Reliable and punctual

Training and Education:

Previous experience as a waitress is preferred, although we provide necessary training for the successful candidate. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.
