Charleston Comfort Inn is seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Our Housekeepers are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of our hotel rooms, hallways and common areas, so it’s essential that our Housekeepers keep the property in “like new” condition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop floors
  • Change bed linens and make beds
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms and showers, toilets, vanities and sinks
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Clean mirrors, windows, walls and ceilings
  • Replenish bathroom supplies
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues
  • Notify supervisors when rooms and common areas are ready for inspection

Work Hours and Benefits:

The Housekeeper position is full-time, and shifts typically run from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Charleston Comfort Inn provides competitive pay and benefits including paid vacation, medical and dental insurance, and 401k retirement savings plan.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper or similar role
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to take direction and work independently

Training and Education:

Our Housekeepers will receive on-the-job training to become familiar with our property and procedures, and must successfully complete customer service and product knowledge training.
