Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the children
- Engage in activities with the children, such as reading stories, playing games, and completing arts and crafts projects
- Take the children outside for walks or to playgrounds
- Change diapers and help with meals
- Help to keep the play area clean
- Monitor the children’s activities while attending to their safety
- Review the daily schedule and ensure that the children are engaged in appropriate activities
- Assist the daycare center in maintaining and updating records such as the children’s daily behavior
- Be open to embracing different cultures and backgrounds
Work Hours and Benefits:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, typically ranging from 8-20 hours a week. Benefits may include paid time off, discounts, and participation in the company’s health insurance and 401k plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a childcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Training and Education:
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A Child Care Credential, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or other related degrees are also a plus.
