Pipe Welders are generally trained to use a variety of tools and equipment, which include metal detectors (to ensure no hidden damage exists), acetylene torches (to melt through structural steel), pressure gauges (to determine if the pipeline is operating within safe pressure limits), hydraulic cutting tools (to cut out damaged or corroded sections), duct tape (so that temporary repairs can be made until the proper repairs can be made) and more.
