The job includes but is not limited to supervising employees, hiring and firing staff, ordering inventory, taking inventory, issuing purchase orders, handling cash flow and payments to suppliers, making sure sales are profitable and complying with all corporate policies. In addition to being responsible for the store's balance sheet and operations daily, a Franchise Owner may also be prepared to travel to corporate headquarters periodically for training and business development seminars.
