While the role varies, duties typically include: operating computer equipment to design and produce a variety of printed products; loading paper into printer; fabricating display board or vinyl and inserts in machine; turning on and testing machines per supervisor's instructions; using signal generator to check color density on printed product; keeping production log sheet up-to-date by entering job number, date, and other data about jobs produced; performing routine maintenance work as required.
